Yuveliniya
Inspired by the antique, beautiful and exuberant jewels of the Russian court I started this collection.
My idea is to transform these special jewels into contemporary showpieces. As a source of inspiration I have chosen two Russian jewels. In the first piece I transform the style and in the second piece I transform the shape.
I find it fascinating that these jewels that were passed on from generation to generation transformed along with the fashion image. To reflect this in my collection, I invented a modular system. The parts are interchangeable so that new jewelry is created all the time.
The old techniques of enameling, piercing and wax modeling to then cast them I have all applied in my process. The brightly colored enamel is applied in an abstract way, which has a surprising and innovative effect.
