My name is Vera, and in 2018 I graduated as a goldsmith from the Vakschool Schoonhoven. I then continued to follow my passion at the Willem de Kooning Academy, where I further developed my artistic vision and creative perspective. With this unique combination of craftsmanship and artistry, I create jewelry that is both technically refined and personally meaningful.
In my own studio, I design and craft my collections, but I also work on commission. I transform old jewelry into new designs, restore cherished pieces, or create a completely bespoke jewel. The result is always something unique: a piece that is not only beautiful but also tells a story.
My inspiration comes from nature, the organic shapes of seashells, the structures of fossils, and the timeless beauty of gemstones. I design intuitively, letting the combination of details, stones, and forms bring each jewel to life with its own character.
For me, it is not only the final result that matters, but also the process. The craftsmanship, attention, and time invested in every piece are what make a jewel truly valuable. The most rewarding moment for me is when a customer wears their jewel with pride and love. That is what my work is all about: capturing emotion in precious metal and stone.
